Here at Optimus Physiotherapy we understand that sometimes things happen that mean you are unable to attend or participate in your physiotherapy.  We will aim to be as flexible and reasonable as we can around your needs however please note: 

If you need to cancel with less than 24 hours notice you may be charged 50% of the appointment fee 

If you fail to attend your physiotherapy appointment or are not present at your address at the agreed time (when home visit agreed) you may be charged in full for your treatment. 

Please note that it is our duty of care to deal with any acute medical or social issue if it arises and to not continue with physiotherapy treatment.  In the case that this should happen the time will still be chargeable. 

 Late to appointments 

If you are more than 15 minutes late for your appointment, we may be unable to see you, or may still have to end the appointment at the same time, resulting in a shorter appointment session. This is to ensure that we do not run late for our other clients. We will endeavour to do what we can for you as we understand that sometimes these situations cannot be helped. No partial refund will be available in these circumstances. 

Our Rights to Cancel 

We may need to amend or cancel your appointment, even after this has been confirmed due to circumstances beyond our control. We will contact you as soon as possible if this happens. You will not be charged in this situation.
