Optimus Physiotherapy was set up by Chartered Physiotherapist, Alison Wyatt.  Alison grew up in Bristol, coming across to Wales to study Physiotherapy at Cardiff University.  After qualifying in 2007 Alison remained in Wales where she has worked as an NHS Physiotherapist for over 17 years.  For the last 12 years Alison has specialised in Oncology and Palliative Care, working in a well known Cancer Centre.  Alison is highly experienced in the field of cancer and cancer treatments having completed various post-graduate courses and has a PG Diploma in Advanced Practice from Cardiff University.  She is qualified in Acupuncture and has completed a number of Pilates courses. Alison's particular interests are in women’s health, including breast cancer rehabilitation and pelvic health.     

When she is not working Alison enjoys spending time with her husband 2 children and dog Rupert and enjoys taking time out to do various crafts.
